UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor showed class when responding to his teammates’ heartfelt message.
On Friday, McGregor’s teammate, Dashon Johnson, wrote a message on his Instagram account regarding race issues in the world today and his strong relationship with McGregor.
“In a world filled with so much racism and hate, along with recent horrific events that have occurred in Virginia, I hope this picture spreads some light and love on that matter.. as you can see here, we are from different parts of the world and backgrounds-two brother from different mothers, showing love to one another…come August 26th my heart bleeds for this man and is in his corner regardless the outcome, not because of his skill, but because he is a great human being and continues to show it outside the ring or octagon.”
After seeing Johnson’s message, McGregor responded by thanking him for all his help during his latest training camp.
“My brother, thank you for all your help in this camp my man from Ireland to Vegas! Much Love,” McGregor said to Johnson.
Johnson has been helping McGregor train. For his professional boxing debut. On Aug. 26, McGregor will fight boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather in Las Vegas.
