Another historic night in combat sports has now come to an end. UFC megastar Conor McGregor made his professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather Jr., who put his 49-0 record on the line as he pulled himself out of retirement. The two fighters went toe-to-toe inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. last night for all the world to see.
The two fighters battled it out for 10 hard rounds. However, in the end, Floyd Mayweather Jr. earned a technical knockout victory over his opponent. Now, fighters and fans are offering their thoughts on the action over social media.
Among them, reigning UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo recently took to Twitter to say “Respect @TheNotoriousMMA showed the world we can compete #MayweathervMcgregor.”
