Conor McGregor Reveals His Terms For Nate Diaz Trilogy Match

UFC megastar faced off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. over the weekend. However, the UFC champion’s boxing debut did not end in his favor. Mayweather earned a TKO victory over McGregor in the 10th round. Now, Conor McGregor is going back to the drawing board to determine what is next for him. Among those options, fight fans have been excitedly discussing the possibility of a trilogy match between UFC lightweight contender Nate Diaz and rival Conor McGregor. Now, McGregor has explained what it will take for him to face Nate Diaz for a third time.

In a recent media scrum, Conor McGregor explained that he wants Nate Diaz to face him at his own weight class.

“I faced him at 170, he beat me, then I rematched him at 170 and I beat him.” McGregor said. “Now, I’m the 155 pound world champion. Now if he wants that fight, he must come down. That’s a fair trade. I didn’t ask for the rematch at a lower weight. I asked for the rematch at the exact same weight. I thought that was a fair play move on my half.”
