Two of the top 135-pound fighters in the UFC are set to compete at an upcoming UFC Fight Night event in Norfolk, Virginia on Nov. 11.
On Thursday, former UFC title challenger John Dodson announced that he will be fighting Marlon Moraes in Norfolk.
Both Dodson and Moraes are currently ranked among the top 10 of the UFC bantamweight division. Dodson is currently ranked No. 8 in the official UFC rankings, while Moraes is ranked No. 10.
Dodson is coming off an impressive decision win over Eddie Wineland back in April.
Dodson has defeated some of the top flyweight and bantamweight fighters in the UFC. His resume includes wins over Tim Elliott, John Moraga, Jussier Formiga, and former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw.
Moraes made his UFC debut back in June. He lost a split decision to Raphael Assuncao. Prior to the loss, Moraes was on a 13-fight win streak and was the World Series of Fighting bantamweight champion.
