UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson’s new Reebok shirt doesn’t have the correct name.
Johnson’s newest Reebok shirt has his name as Demetrious “Mighty” Johnson with an “X” behind his name to represent the number of title defenses he has inside the Octagon.
This may be another mistake made by Reebok, who is known for messing up fighters names in the past. There is also the possibility of Reebok not being able to put “Mighty Mouse” on a shirt due to copyright issues. So as a result, Reebok just created a new nickname.
Johnson is scheduled to make his 11th title defense this weekend at UFC 215, which will take place Sept. 9 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is scheduled to fight flyweight contender Ray Borg in the main event.
If Johnson is victorious on Saturday, he will break the UFC record for the most consecutive title defenses. Currently, Johnson is tied at 10 title defenses with former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva.
