On Saturday, UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson will attempt to break the UFC record when he defends his title for the 11th time.
Johnson will defend his championship against flyweight contender Ray Borg in the main event of UFC 215.
In preparation for the fight, you can watch one of Johnson’s most impressive title defenses.
In the video below, Johnson defends his championship against Kyoji Horiguchi. In April 2015, in the main event of UFC 186, Johnson dominated Horiguchi throughout their title fight. In the fifth round, Johnson secured an armbar and submitted Horiguchi with just one second left in the fight.
Johnson’s win over Horiguchi was his sixth title defense. With 10 title defenses in total, Johnson currently holds the UFC record for most title defenses alongside former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva.
UFC 215 will take place on Sept. 9 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. In the co-main event, UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes will defend her title against Valentina Shevchenko.
