T.J. Dillashaw Reacts To UFC 215 Main Event Cancellation, When He Could Have Been Ready To Fight

Former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw has reacted to the cancellation of Saturday’s main event.

At UFC 215, UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson was scheduled to defend his championship against Ray Borg in the main event. However, less than two days before the event, Borg withdrew from the fight due to illness.

Prior to Borg getting the title shot, the UFC wanted Johnson to defend his title against Dillashaw. Even though the UFC wanted to make the fight, Johnson didn’t want to fight Dillashaw due to him not having any fights in the flyweight division.

Shortly after the news broke of Borg withdrawing from the fight, Dillashaw responded with a series of emojis on Twitter.

Among the emojis used by Dillashaw included a mouse, a disappointed face, and money. Without saying any words, Dillashaw said “Mighty Mouse” Johnson made a mistake by not fighting him instead.

Dillashaw is currently healthy and is scheduled to fight for a title later this year. At UFC 217, on Nov. 4, Dillashaw will fight UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt in the co-main event.
