Breaking news in the world of Conor McGregor.
According to the commissioner who oversaw last weekend’s Bellator MMA Event in Dublin, the UFC has removed Conor McGregor from their December 30th card, as he is no longer eligible to compete based on the events that happened at Bellator 187.
This is second hand information, as nobody from the UFC has made a statement on Conor McGregor.
Mike Mazzulli, president of the Association of Boxing Commissions revealed what the UFC told him about the punishment they’re imposing on the UFC lightweight champion.
“I had some executives from UFC contact me within two hours after what occurred and they basically said to me that it’s completely unacceptable in their eyes and that they will be doing something.”
“They did inform me that he was set to be on the December 30th card and he will not be on it. So I do commend UFC to some extent for doing that.”
