Dana White Reveals The Real Problem With Conor McGregor

UFC President Dana White has come forward to reveal the alleged problem with Conor McGregor’s potential return.

Conor McGregor has taken over the world of mixed martial arts with his lengthy record of knockout victories and storied title fight wings. That being said, “Notorious” made the payday of his career in his professional boxing debut. Now Dana White believes the massive profit may be deterring “Notorious” from an octagon return.

McGregor has not competed inside the octagon since 2016, having most recently earned the lightweight title with a finish over Eddie Alvarez. Rather, “Notorious” has been gearing up for his boxing debut since his last venture in the UFC.

On Aug. 26, 2017, McGregor faced off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. for his boxing debut. While Mayweather earned a TKO victory over the UFC superstar, McGregor is still estimated to have earned $100 million for his debut in the sport.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, Dana White offered his thoughts on the matter.

“That’s what he wanted to do (fight at UFC 219). But when you make friggin’ 80 million bucks, things change. You never know. I said that before the fight. You make that kind of money, it can change you.”

It would appear that the UFC president is not entirely confident that “Notorious” will ever make an octagon return after all.
