Businessman Mark Cuban is perhaps best known as being the owner of the popular NBA team Dallas Mavericks. Cuban is also one of the primary investors on the hit ABC reality television series Shark Tank. With that in mind, Cuban has also garnered some controversy during his career.
Cuban has earned a reputation within the NBA as often speaking his mind. The team owner has made multiple heated remarks concerning players, referees and NBA officials over the years.
Most notably, Cuban once criticized NBA official Ed T. Rush. The team owner claimed Rush “wouldn’t be able to manage a Dairy Queen.” Dairy Queen would go on to offer Cuban a chance to work as a manager for the fast food chain in response to the news.
Cuban accepted the offer and spent a single day working as a manager for a Dairy Queen restaurant in Coppell, Texas.
