New Shirtless Fight Week Photo Of Ngannou Surfaces, And He Appears Soft, Out Of Shape

Ahead of this weekend’s UFC 220 title fight, the UFC’s number 1 heavyweight contender has hit UFC fight week and checked in for his official fight week photos.

With his shirt off, we see the results of the challengers fight camp, as we ready for this weekend’s UFC 220 double-header.

Before you scroll all the way down to see what kind of physical shape Ngannou is in, we offer the following images for comparison.

Top ranked UFC heavyweight contender, Francis Ngannou.

And here’s one more for good measure with a similar pose to the shocking one just taken this week:

Fast rising heavyweight Francis Ngannou was ready to step in for Derrick Lewis and fight former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum at UFC 216.

Now, what we know is Ngannou just fought not that long ago. Last month to be exact, against Alistair Overeem.

Typically, fighters, especially for world title fights, want a minimum of an 8 week training camp to ready for the fight of their life. However, in Ngannou’s case, the supremely confident title challenger was not in need of a lengthy camp, stating he was preparing for the Miocic fight even before he fought Overeem.

Instead of buckling down at his training home in Las Vegas to ready for the UFC 220 main event, Ngannou flew off to France, where he spent the Holidays and New Year unconcerned with the fight ahead of him.

He spent weeks out of camp, and if this new fight week photo is any indication, the results may speak for themselves.
