The fight opened up at a fast pace, as Burkman met his opponent on the center of the octagon with a furious punch combination. However, Morono retaliated with a series of strikes of his own. The fight then began to slow down, as both fighters respected each other's power. Morono dropped Burkman with a brutal right hand, following up with a swift submission attempt.
