Newly Crowned UFC Champ Khabib Gets A Hero’s Welcome At Home

Undefeated UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov made a long time dream come true over the weekend. The mixed martial arts phenom earned the undisputed UFC lightweight title. Now a video of "The Eagle" receiving a massive welcome when arriving in his home country of Dagestan is making its way around the internet. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted UFC 223 on Saturday night, April 7, inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Headlining the event, Khabib Nurmagomedov faced off against Al Iaquinta for the lightweight title. "The Eagle" put on a dominant performance over his opponent, ultimately earning a unanimous decision victory.
