The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is in Las Vegas, Nev. tonight to host another exciting evening of match ups for fight fans worldwide. Now the time has come to take a look at the UFC results from the stunning bouts. The second season of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series is well underway, as the exciting show is delivering its fifth week of fights tonight, July 7, from within the UFC Training Center. Kicking off the night's event, middleweights Edmen Shahbazyan and Antonio Jones are going toe-to-toe as the two mixed martial artists battle it out for a UFC contract. Edmen Shahbazyan is training under former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey's longtime head coach Edmond Tarverdyan, as Shahbazyan is also one of the fighters to be managed by Ronda Rousey and to have trained in the same camp as the former title holder. The fight did not last long. Shahbazyan stormed his opponent and pummeled the fighter into the canvas with a flurry of strikes. Referee Herb Dean had seen enough and called a stop to the contest.
