This time around, the world's most famous mixed martial arts promotion is hosting the highly anticipated fight card of UFC 224 for the Rio de Janeiro crowd. On the night's UFC Fight Pass preliminary card, middleweights Jack Hermansson and Thales Leites faced off in a match for division dominance. Hermansson seemingly suffered a tough beating from his opponent for much of the match. Leites was getting the better of the fighter in many of the exchanges. By the final round, Hermansson injured his rib in debilitating fashion. Gaining a second wind, Hermansson fought through the pain and managed to get a dominant position over the back of his opponent from the canvas.
