Boxing and mixed martial arts have been intertwining for some time now. The relationship between the two sport perhaps reached a peak back in 2017, when UFC megastar Conor McGregor met undefeated pugilist legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside the squared circle. That being said, there is still plenty of cross-pollination of ideas between the two combat sports.
