Former Longtime MMA Columnist Dr. Johnny Benjamin Found Guilty Of Criminal Charges

Dr. Johnny Benjamin was once a famed columnist for MMA Junkie, having formed his own series called “Medical Beat." However, the medical physician has since been found guilty of multiple charges following a DEA sting operation. As reported by Treasure Coast News, two DEA informants have been recording their drug sales with Johnny Benjamin for nearly a year. The data was used to build a case against the doctor. The individual will serve a mandatory 20 years in prison for being found guilty of five federal drug charges. Benjamin could receive life in prison and be dealt millions in fines once the individual is sentenced in July by District Judge William P. Dimitrouleas. For more MMA news click here.
