The second round opened up with Bessette landing a tough head kick on his opponent. However, Barzola would go on to drop the fighter with a strong right hand. Bessette made his way back to his feet, but was inevitably slammed to the canvas by his opponent. This was seemingly a dominant round for Barzola. Barzola kicked off the final round at a swift pace, opening things up with a leg kick that seemed to sting Bessette. Barzola then began to control the pace, as the fighter put Bessette on his back foot. With half of the final round in the books, the two mixed martial arts warriors began trading in the center of the octagon. However, both fighters appeared gassed from the eventful two rounds of combat. Barzola slammed Bessette into the canvas for yet another successful takedown in the final minute of the match up.
