Welterweight Opens Up UFC 229 With Stunning TKO Finish | UFC Results

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is now delivering the most highly anticipated fight card of the year. UFC 229 is taking place this Saturday, Oct. 6, from within the illustrious T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. Kicking off the night's early preliminary card on the promotion's UFC Fight Pass streaming service, welterweights Ryan LaFlare and Tony Martin are now throwing down inside the octagon for the Las Vegas crowd. Martin opened up the first round with a furry. The fighter began tagging LaFlare with a series of tough strikes. LaFlare retaliated with some powerful body shots, but Martin continually landed uppercuts and superman punches over his opponent. Martin dropped his opponent early in the second round. Following LaFlare to the canvas, Martin quickly gained a dominant position over his opponent. Reversing a D'Arce choke attempt, LaFlare eventually made his way back to his feet.
