“Cyborg” Won’t Wait For GDR, Wants Anderson While Waiting For UFC Title Shot

On Saturday, at UFC 208, Germaine de Randamie became the first ever UFC women’s featherweight champion.

In the main event, De Randamie defeated former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm in a close decision to become the first female 145-pound champion in the UFC.

In attendance, was Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino, who is the current Invicta featherweight champion and was the first, and only, Strikeforce women’s featherweight champion.

After winning the title, UFC commentator Joe Rogan asked De Randamie what she thought about a potential fight defense against Justino. She replied saying she needed to take time off to rehab an injury.

Justino did not take much time to retaliate. “Cyborg” went to Twitter and called out another champion.

In January, Megan Anderson defeated Charmaine Tweet to become the interim Invicta featherweight champion. When “Cyborg” is cleared to compete, she has made the challenge to Anderson to unify the two Invicta 145-pound titles.
