Video: U.S. President Donald Trump Takes To WWE, Wrestles With Stars

When Donald Trump does something, people take notice. You may not agree with everything the President of the United States does or says. But he really doesn’t care as he plays to the beat of his drummer.

One of the things he did before he became our current POTUS was be involved at WWE Wrestlemania 23 in 2007 from Ford Field in Detriot, MI. Trump was in the corner of then-ECW champion Bobby Lashley who faced Umaga with WWE chairman Vince McMahon. The match was titled, “The Battle of the Billionaires” and wrestling legend “Stone Cold” Steve Austin was the special guest referee. The loser of the match had to have their head shaved bald.

Lashley won the match but it was more remembered for Trump flying to give McMahon a clothesline and throwing some awful looking punches and then after the match, shaving the head of the pro wrestling czar.

Trump was inducted into the “celebrity wing” of the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013. He picked McMahon’s wife Linda to lead the Small Business Administration. She was unanimously voted into the position last week.

It’s should be safe to say that we will never see Trump in a WWE ring during his presidency. But in the wrestling business and with Trump, you never say never.
