UFC Wins One — Top Prospect Turns Down More Money As Free Agent To Stay With The UFC

Ultimate Fighting Championship has lost a lot of top-tier fighters due to their decision to test the free agent market. Bellator, RIZIN, and World Series of Fighting are all looking to take the next big step in growth and they have been making major offers to the likes of Ryan Bader and Lorenz Larkin to get them to make the switch.

While UFC has lost a handful of fighters, it appears as if they played their cards right with Charles Rosa.

Rosa, now 2-2 inside the octagon, has stated that he wants to test himself against the best fighters in the world and there is no doubt UFC has the best collection of featherweights in the world. Rosa told Bloody Elbow:

“I signed a new 4-fight contract with the UFC. It was a long process, honestly… I really wanted that contract. I made it happen. We finally got everything, and came to good terms, and got a deal. I got everything I wanted. I’m where I want to be. I want to be in the UFC, fighting the best guys. I had other options, maybe for a little bit better money with other things, but you know what, at this point, I want to be in the UFC. I want to fight the best, and I want to be able to wake up in the morning, and look myself in the mirror, knowing that I’m fighting the best guys in the world, and I can call myself the best fighter when I win the belt.”
