D.C. Sends Manuwa A Good Morning Message, And It’s Not Very Nice

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier is coming fresh off a successful defense of his championship, having defeated Anthony “Rumble” Johnson with ease at “UFC 210” earlier this year. Now, Cormier already has his sights set on another light heavyweight and his name is not Jon “Bones” Jones.

Jimi Manuwa was sitting cageside when Cormier forced Johnson into submission and quickly became the target of D.C.’s verbal attacks after the bout. Cormier mocked Manuwa and Jones from inside the cage, telling him he’ll never be able to put on a belt and simply insulting the top contender’s track record.

Manuwa stormed onto the light heavyweight scene making an impact immediately going on a three fight knockout tear. He has defeated the likes of Jan Błachowicz, Ovince Saint Preux, and Corey Anderson in his last three fights and sits atop the rankings with Jones.

Despite his impressive knockout ratio, Cormier does not seem threatened one bit. Cormier continues to verbally attack Manuwa every chance he gets and he has been relentless on social media since the feud first kicked off at “UFC 210”. Cormier had a special message for Manuwa this morning:

Who do you think will walk out of the octagon as the winner in this scrap?
