Conor McGregor Officially Applies For Boxing License In Nevada To Fight Floyd Mayweather

With news breaking late Wednesday night of Conor McGregor’s signing a contract to fight Floyd Mayweather, the boxing vs. MMA mega-fight draws nearer.

Adding to the anticipation to finalize the bout, UFC President Dana White confirmed that Conor’s end is finished, and all that’s left is a Floyd Mayweather signature.

Of course, Conor McGregor, in order to fight Floyd in a boxing match, must first get approved by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for a license to do so.

The process involves applying, getting approved as a professional boxer and then convincing the state that Mayweather vs. McGregor is a fair contest they can license.

The application part is now done.

If approved, signed, sealed and delivered, this historic fight will be the first time in UFC history they allowed a fighter or champion to be apart of a boxing match.

Stay tuned.
