UFC Vet Marcus Davis Gets Knocked Out Cold In Return To Kickboxing

Mixed martial arts veteran and former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight competitor Marcus “The Irish Hand Grenade” Davis has not competed in the UFC promotion for some time.

Marcus “The Irish Hand Grenade” Davis’ most recent UFC bout was in 2011 at UFC 125. But, the mixed martial artist made a return to kickboxing shortly after his departure from the UFC. This time, the fighting veteran faced off at ISKA Worlds Collide.

For the ISKA Worlds Collide event, “The Irish Hand Grenade” faced off against Mark Casserly on May 6, 2012 in Dublin, Ireland. Unfortunately for Marcus Davis, the fight only lasted a single round. Davis did not end the night victoriously.

Marcus Davis faced a bitter loss to Mark Casserly in the first round of the bout by a brutal head kick knockout. Davis slumped to the mat and the fight came to an end. Footage from the bout may be viewed above.
