Hype Deserved! Unbeaten UFC Prospect Mauls Opponent In Debut — Replay

On Saturday, the UFC’s annual International Fight Week came to its conclusion with UFC 213.

Despite the main event between UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko being canceled just hours before the event, the UFC still hosted a full night of intriguing matchups.

The night opened with a light heavyweight battle between Trevin Giles and James Bochnovic.

Giles started the fight with a leg kick, but Bochnovic controlled the cage. Bochnovic began landing strong kicks to the legs and body. Giles later secured a takedown. Giles gained top position, but Bochnovic was more active from the bottom. Later in the round, Giles took his opponents back and began landing hard punches to the head. Bochnovic managed to roll back onto his back. Bochnovic got to his feet but was slammed back onto the ground. The round ended with Giles landing shots from on top.

Bochnovic was the aggressor to start the second round. Giles later dropped Bochnovic with a punch to the body. He then secured top position. Bochnovic rolled to his stomach and got up, but Giles immediately got him back down. Giles landed hard punches on the ground until the referee stepped in and stopped the fight.
