Mariusz Pudzianowski is a former strongman competitor, having earned five World’s Strongest Man titles in his day. Now the power lifting phenom is a professional mixed martial artist. The fighter has a lengthy record under the KSW promotion, having earned a total record of 12-5 as a mixed martial artist. With that in mind, it would appear that Pudzianowski is taking a leave from the KSW promotion and may be setting his sights on another promotion entirely.
KSW President Martin Lewandowski recently took to Facebook to reveal that Pudzianowski is parting ways with KSW. However, Lewandowski also hinted that an appearance under the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) banner may be in Pudzianowski’s future.
Here is the translated text from the KSW president wishing his champion and biggest draw luck in the big show:
“On December 11, 2009, the world of polish martial arts changed. Mariusz Pudzianowski made his debut in KSW and nothing was ever like before this debut permanently changed the perception of mma in Poland, but also changed the world’s strongest man. Today, after all these years, even the greatest enemies of then have to admit that he became a UFC Fighter. Thank you mariusz for all these years and i wish the great the of your career-to be like the picture.”
