Mixed martial arts is a demanding sport that requires day-to-day sacrifices from those motivated to compete at the highest level. Consequently, those that suffer tough losses inside the cage often react passionately. For this fighter, that decision had an unexpected consequence.
Andrew Whitney faced off against Farkhad Sharipov at Titan FC 42. The two mixed martial arts warriors went toe-to-toe in a brutal war that ultimately went the distance.
However, things simply did not go Whitney’s way. The fighter suffered a decision loss to Sharipov in the night’s co-main event.
Upon hearing the decision, Whitney lashed out with a wild punch in frustration. Unknowingly to the fighter, one of the event’s ring card girls was just behind him.
