UFC’s PPV Price Hike Not A One-Off … Here’s What You’ll Pay For This Weekend’s UFC 221 Event

Just like with boxing’s historic Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor bout, it was believed that perhaps the UFC’s increase in pay-per-view price for UFC 220 was a one off blip, due to the double header title fights in their two marquee divisions.

That however is not the case, as UFC 221: ‘Rochold vs. Romero’ is also available for purchase at the new inflated cost.

This would signal that the UFC’s pay-per-views will cost more going forward, and that’s even with buy-rates struggling for more than 12-months straight.

In 2017 the UFC saw a decline in views by 55%, and apparently instead of dropping the price to entice more viewers, they’re ready to just take more of their regular buyer’s hard earned dough.

UFC 221 will be available for purchase for a price of $64.99. That’s the same $5.00 increase that was debuted for UFC 220.
