Strikeforce Fighter Awarded Full Custody Of Charles Manson’s Remains

Charles Manson passed away within California State Prison in Corcoran, CA back in Nov. of 2017. Since then, there has been a legal battle over who will receive the remains and estate of the individual. Now former Strikeforce competitor Jason Freeman has been granted ownership of Manson’s remains.

Manson was serving a life sentence started in 1972 for the murder of a minimum of nine individuals in what would become known as the Manson Family Murders. A collection of individuals have been in ligation for months concerning which party member will gain ownership over the individuals estate and remains.

Former Strikeforce competitor Jason Freeman is a grandson to Charles Manson, fighting under the moniker “Charlie Manson III.” Now the fighter has been awarded the rights to his grandfather’s remains.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Freeman revealed that he plans to cremate his relative.

“I am a grandson working to take the proper steps to show my respect to my grandfather and his true close friends. I’m not only doing this for me. It’s for everyone who stands firm in the truth of life. I’m just a tool walking this part of my journey out. It has brought a lot of hardship on my life and family at home.”
