With a fight just three weeks away in his hometown, former UFC lightweight world champion Frankie Edgar must turn focus to his personal life, as he just announced the death of his father.
Edgar’s father, Charlie Edgar lost his battle with cancer on Monday.
Edgar’s statement reads,
It is with great sorrow that I’m writing this but please come out and support in memory of my Father Charlie Edgar who passed away this past Monday in his fight against Cancer. This all happened very fast and is hard to even fathom so please come show support if you can. Thanks.
