UFC women’s strawweight Mackenzie Dern is quickly taking the world of mixed martial arts by storm. With that in mind, the grappling ace turned fighter has now taken to social media to drop another internet breaking photo to the masses.
Dern is deeply rooted within the realm of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. A former ADCC champion and once a No. 1 ranked IBJJF black belt, the talented grappler has achieved great success within the field.
Transitioning into the world of MMA, Dern has gone undefeated. Now 6-0, Dern most recently made a successful octagon debut.
Taking on Ashley Yoder, Dern managed to walk away with a split decision victory over her opponent. Now the fighter is gearing up for her sophomore match up under the banner of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
This time around, Dern is set to face off against Amanda Cooper in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The two will throw down May 12 on the highly anticipated fight card of UFC 224. The event will be featured live on pay-per-view.
