Forbes recently released the 2017 standing for the world’s highest paid athletes. Following his final boxing performance, Floyd Mayweather Jr. landed the No. 1 spot on the list.
“Money” Mayweather lived up to his moniker in 2017, having taken on UFC superstar Conor McGregor inside the squared circle in a match that helped the undefeated boxer reach his estimated 2017 take home of $285 million.
