Ultimate Fighting Championship will be making their way to the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada for “UFC Fight Night 105: Browne vs. Lewis”. Heavyweights Travis Browne and Derrick Lewis will battle it out for heavyweight supremacy in the main event of the evening, but they weren’t the original headliner for the card.
Junior dos Santos was scheduled to make his return to the octagon, however his bout with Stefan Struve got scrapped due to an injury suffered by the “Skyscraper”. Instead of finding JDS another opponent, officials opted to simply pull dos Santos from the card and pencil in Browne and Lewis as the new main event.
