On Saturday, Punk was asked by Carrlyn Bathe, of At The Buzzer, when he plans to fight again.
“I’m working on it feverishly,” Punk said. “I’m throwing names at Dana (White), opponents, dates. I don’t know if he’s waiting for a Chicago show, or what the deal is, but if it doesn’t happen in the UFC, it’ll happen somewhere else. I’m dedicated to fighting and training. So we’ll get there.”
Punk is adamant about continuing his MMA career despite having a rough debut back in September. At UFC 203, Punk was dominated and submitted by Mickey Gall.
Before coming to the world of MMA, Punk was one of the biggest stars in the WWE. He left professional wrestling in early 2014 and later that year announced he had signed a deal with the UFC.
