Flyweight Ian “Uncle Creepy” McCall has been robbed of yet another potential bout within the UFC, this being his fourth consecutive fight to fall through.
Set to fight Neil Seery at UFC 208 on February 11, 2017, the bout was cancelled after Seery was forced to drop out due to the passing of his mother-in-law.
Confirmed through MMA Junkie, Seery explained
“I pulled out of my fight in 2 weeks due to losing my mother in law today sorry to everyone who bought tickets but family comes first.”
The two fighters were set to face off at UFC Fight Night 99 this previous November, but McCall was hospitalized with a severe illness before the bout.
“Uncle Creepy” has not fought since his loss at UFC 183 against John Lineker back in January 31, 2015.
