UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt has a history of having a low tolerance for internet trolls.
On Wednesday, Hunt posted the image of a young man from Tasmania who threatened him on Facebook. Hunt says the young man told him he would rape Hunt’s 6 and 4-year-old children.
Hunt went on to say that he reported the man to the police. Hunt also says he wished people, like this young man, had the guts to say that type of “expletive” to his face.
Hunt’s history with internet trolls is well known. A few weeks ago, Hunt challenged a troll to a sparring match. However, Hunt later canceled the match and apologized for the way he acted.
Hunt is scheduled to fight Alistair Overeem at UFC 209 on March 4 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Following the result of his last fight, Hunt is also in a lawsuit against the UFC. In July, at UFC 200, Hunt lost a decision to former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. However, the fight was later overturned to a no contest after Lesnar tested positive for banned substances. Hunt filed a lawsuit against Lesnar and UFC President Dana White claiming the UFC knew Lesnar would test positive for banned substances.
