Masvidal Calls Out Dana White — Issues Direct Challenge To UFC Boss

Following his victory on Saturday, UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal called out UFC President Dana White.

On Saturday, Jorge Masvidal defeated welterweight contender Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone by TKO in the second round. This was by far the biggest win in Masvidal’s UFC career.

Following the fight, Masvidal challenged White to find someone who can beat him. Masvidal bet White $200,000 saying he couldn’t find a fighter who could beat him.

Masvidal’s win over Cerrone makes him a top contender in the UFC welterweight division. He is currently on a three-fight win streak that includes wins over Jake Ellenberger and Ross Pearson.

Saturday marked Cerrone’s first loss as a welterweight in the UFC. He was previously unbeaten in the division with four wins in 2016. He defeated Alex Oliveira, Patrick Cote, Rick Story, and Matt Brown all by knockout, TKO, or submission.
