On Saturday, UFC lightweight champion and former featherweight champion Conor McGregor held an interview with MMA journalist Ariel Helwani in Manchester. Within the interview, the UFC champion had a few interesting proclamations, including his plans for the future and his opinion of WWE’s Vince McMahon.
“It’s only January of 2017. I’m already the face of the UFC. I’m already the face of boxing. I’m already the face of the WWE. And, I’m already the face of Hollywood. And now tonight I’m the face of Manchester and it’s only January. Wait until you see what I’ve got in store for February.”
In response to the recent popularity of the champions walkout display at UFC 205, McGregor had the following to say.
“I’m thinking Vince McMahon must be pissed and I don’t give a [Expletive] about Vince McMahon. I stole that walk and that walk is now mine. And not Vince or any of those [Expletive] over in the WWE will do anything about it. That’s my walk. I created that walk. I made that walk.”
