In a sport where the athletes have so much pride in the discipline they practice day in and day out to become the best in the world at what they do, it is rare and unfortunate to see a fighter resort to such violence. Former Bellator fighter Roshaun Jones has been charged with murder in a double homicide case stemming from a failed robbery earlier this week.
New York Daily news says that police believe Jones shot and killed two people in an armed robbery at the Laundry Station in Del Mar, New York on Monday. Two workers tried to stop the robbery, but Jones allegedly turned the gun on them and shot them where their bodies were discovered hours later by a customer.
