Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has challenged Wanderlei Silva to another fight. On Saturday, Jackson posted a photo of himself shortly after he knocked out Silva in one of their previous fights. In his caption, Jackson claimed that Silva was on steroids the first two times Silva defeated Jackson. In 2003 and 2004, Silva knocked out Jackson in the Pride promotion:
“The 1st time I fought wand, I beat the **** out of Chuck 45 mins before.. and wand was on steroids… the 2nd time i fought wand I had a bad camp due to a very hard to explain spiritual awakening.. and he was on steroids.. I’ve never used steroids to this date. The 3rd time I fought wand,I had a great camp. It wasn’t a Tournament just man to man.. and this pic shows you how that night went. I’m sure juice gives you more confidence.. so I say this now wand, since you keep posting videos of you koing me.. fight me one more time, and I don’t care if you juice. Now what?! (Bet he won’t take that fight)”
Jackson later said Silva wasn’t on steroids the third time they fought. In 2008, Jackson fought Silva in the UFC. On that night, Jackson knocked Silva out.
Jackson claim Silva is on steroids once again and he welcomes a fight against Silva in Bellator.
“I’m sure juice gives you more confidence.. so I say this now wand, since you keep posting videos of you koing me.. fight me one more time, and I don’t care if you juice. Now what?! (Bet he won’t take that fight)”
Jackson is scheduled to fight Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal in the main event of Bellator 175 on March 31. He is currently on a five-fight win streak, with one of those wins being a decision win over Lawal in 2014.
