UFC made their return to Denver, Colorado on Saturday evening for “UFC on FOX 23” where Valentina Shevchenko and Julianna Pena battled it out for women’s bantamweight supremacy. Shevchenko was able to walk away with the armbar victory, further solidifying herself as one of the more dominant fighters in the weight class and possibly the next challenger to Amanda Nunes’ throne.
