The protestors in Standing Rock have an uphill battle ahead of them now that Donald Trump has signed the papers telling them to continue building the pipeline, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the fight is over. Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey stopped by in North Dakota earlier this week to give the protestors some support, and it seems that she did more than simply drop by.
Rousey dropped off a lot of supplies and proceeded to inform the women that she will be standing right by them, prepared to do what needs to be done in order to save Standing Rock. Linda Black Elk was with Rousey and informed TMZ, “She brought a ton of fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese, tents, wood stoves, she did a huge firewood order for us and had it delivered right to camp.”
She also said that Rousey will be back with the protestors ready to “get pepper sprayed alongside everyone else.”
“Well the news is out now! Last week, my sister and Ronda Rousey traveled to North Dakota to deliver supplies to the protesters of the Dakota access pipeline. I’m so proud of you amazing ladies! ? (This photo got leaked, so now I can tell my friends how amazing and caring these ladies truly are!) #armbarnation #nodapl #rondarousey #standwithstandingrock #PitaLiving #UFC #standingrock #NoDak #TeamPita”
