Tito Ortiz: ‘Nick and Nate Diaz Are My Favorite Fighters’

On Tuesday, during a Facebook Live Q&A, MMA legend Tito Ortiz revealed who his favorite fighters are.

“Who are my favorite fighters?” Ortiz said while reading the question aloud. “I have two. Nick and Nate Diaz.”

Nick Diaz is a former Strikeforce welterweight champion. He has 26 wins in his MMA career. Nick has notable wins over Robbie Lawler, Frank Shamrock, Scott Smith, KJ Noons, Paul Daley, and BJ Penn.

Nate Diaz has recently become one of the biggest stars in the UFC following his submission win over current UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor last March.

Nate is a former UFC title challenger and has 19 wins in his MMA career. He has notable victories over Melvin Guillard, Gray Maynard, Jim Miller, Takanori Gomi, Donald Cerrone, and Michael Johnson.

Ortiz retired from MMA last Saturday, at Bellator 170, following his submission win over Chael Sonnen. Ortiz finished his career with 19 wins. He is also a former UFC light heavyweight champion and a member of the UFC Hall of Fame.
