And Another One… UFC 209 Loses Second Fighter In A Week

UFC 209 has fallen under a strange coincidence as yet another fighter has been forced to pull out of the event.

First to make the list was heavyweight Todd Duffee, though it is still unclear why Duffee removed himself from the bout. The heavyweight was initially set to face Mike Godbeer, but was eventually replaced with Daniel Spitz.

Adding his name to the list, light heavyweight Ed Herman has been pulled from the event due to an undisclosed injury.

Herman took to Twitter to break the news to the public, saying “If you haven’t heard, sad to say, I’m out of my fight at UFC 209 with an injury. First time I have ever pulled of UFC fight. All B back soon.”

Herman was initially set to face Igor Pokrajac and a replacement has not yet been made official.
