Ultimate Fighting Championship may be on the verge of bringing back one of the biggest stars this sport has seen in Georges St-Pierre. The two were at an impasse earlier this year when St-Pierre revealed that he was a free agent in the summer, fielding offers from organizations around the world.
St-Pierre, an Under Armour-sponsored fighter, and his team had issues with the Reebok sponsorship as they are the lone sponsor for fighters while inside the octagon. That was just one of the minor issues holding up this deal from happening again, but it seems like the two parties are closer than ever before to signing a deal. As a matter of fact, it all may be done sooner than you’d think:

St-Pierre has not fought since 2013 when he relinquished his UFC Welterweight Championship after his fight with Johny Hendricks. Do you think he’ll make his way back to the top of the division right away, or should he take a tune up fight first?
