“Cyborg” Traveling To South Korea For Battlefield FC Event

UFC featherweight champion, Cris Cyborg.

South Korea’s inaugural Battlefield Fighting Championship will be housing a new guest, as Invicta FC Featherweight Champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino will now be present for the event.

March’s inaugural event will be headlined by former ONE Middleweight Champion Igor Svirid as he faces Joe Ray. As first reported by The Fight Nation, “Cyborg” will be in the arena to watch the event.

This will be Justino’s first trip to South Korea, as she will be spending the time meeting fans, signing autographs, and seeing the sites.

“Cyborg” has been having some issues finding a bout in the UFC featherweight division, as inaugural featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie has shown interest in an immediate rematch will former bantamweight champion Holly Holm. “Cyborg” recently applied for and received a TUE for a potential non-PED USADA drug violation, allowing her entry into the newly created UFC featherweight division.

Yet, with Randamie interested in a rematch with Holm, Justino is now free and looking for ready opponents.
