A featherweight bout between former UFC Bantamweight Champion Renan Barao and Doo Ho Choi will headline a UFC on FOX event on April 15.
This UFC on FOX event will take place at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The Sprint Center website confirmed the main event fight.
Barao earned his first win as a featherweight in the UFC in his last fight. He is coming off a decision win over Phillipe Nover in September.
Choi is coming off an exciting back-and-forth decision loss to Cub Swanson in December. Prior to the loss, Choi was on a 12-fight win streak that culminated with a knockout win over Thiago Tavares.
On Saturday, the UFC announced a pivotal women’s strawweight fight between Rose Namajunas and Michelle Waterson for this event. According to the Sprint Center website, this fight will be the co-main event.
Former flyweight title challenger Tim Elliott will also fight at this event. He will fight fellow flyweight contender Louis Smolka.
