Just one year ago, UFC President Dana White would simply laugh off any fight fan’s wishes of seeing Conor McGregor square off with Floyd Mayweather inside the boxing ring. Now, even though White will still laugh it off, it’s becoming more of a possibility as the day passes.
Conor McGregor is currently in Las Vegas, Nevada meeting with the likes of the Nevada State Athletic Commission to further negotiations on his fight with Mayweather, among other things. McGregor also plans to make his way to The Money Team headquarters where he will discuss specifics of a potential bout before heading to the UFC offices to have a word with them.
ESPN reporter Brett Okamoto has made it official that the NSAC has actually spoken about Mayweather and McGregor’s bout:
Breaking: NSAC chairman Marnell confirms there have been "real discussions" with "the real players involved" on McGregor vs. Mayweather.
