Ultimate Fighting Championship stagehands have set up the octagon in Halifax, Nova Scotia for “UFC Fight Night 105” on Sunday. Former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks has made the move to middleweight after failing to meet the welterweight cut off multiple times at weigh-ins, and it seems his cut down to middleweight may be a difficult one as well.
Hendricks has come out and stated that he is weighing close to 200 pounds just days before he has to make weight. “UFC Fight Night 105” will practice the early weigh-ins, which means Hendricks must cut nearly fourteen pounds in less than forty-eight hours to make weight:
Johny Hendricks just told me he currently weigh 197 pounds. Must be 186 for Saturday morning early weigh-ins. #UFCHalifax

Hendricks is scheduled to square off with Hector Lombard in the co-main event of the evening on Sunday.
